About Me

Roads go ever ever on,
Over rock and under tree,
By caves where never sun has shone,
By streams that never find the sea;
Over snow by winter sown,
And through the merry flowers of June,
Over grass and over stone,
And under mountains in the moon.

Roads go ever ever on
Under cloud and under star,
Yet feet that wandering have gone
Turn at last to home afar.
Eyes that fire and sword have seen
And horror in the halls of stone
Look at last on meadows green
And trees and hills they long have known.

Well, I suppose that since you did click on this page entitled "About Me", you have every intention on learning something of me. Well, perhaps not every intention, but maybe a slight intention. So if you pull out your reading glasses or have some spare time on your hands, I would be more than glad to tell you about myself (unless you're a criminal or a stalker or a hobo, then I would prefer that you go read someone else's blog; but if you're a good hobo feel free to continue on).

My name is Kennedi. For those of you who are not name experts (and my parents fall into that category), it's a Gaelic name that means "Ugly helmet head." Why would my parents do this to me? Well, as I mentioned a moment ago, they are by no means naming experts. So if you are a parent-to-be, do your child a favor and BECOME AN EXPERT!
I'm 15 years old and was born on May 10th in Omaha, Nebraska. I am unmercifully teased when people learn that my family members have been dubbed "Cornhuskers"(because practically everyone I've met in the past two or three years are against that hillbilly state), but I fear that I cannot blame them; in all fairness, the only things that reside in that pathetic region are corn fields and herds of cattle.

When I was two years old, my family relocated to Indiana to get closer to my mother's side of the family. And we've lived here ever since, and I am glad to say that life here has been a good one. I serve the one and only Jesus Christ and He has blessed me with the life I live today. Without Him, I would be dead...because, as the Bible states, He is the one who breathed life into mankind. If it weren't for Him, my existence would be a most tragic one.

Now, a bit about me in the present time:
What do I want to do with my life? I want to most certainly get married. One of the most beautiful things that God has blessed humans with is the will and the drive to be in a relationship; and a God-honoring relationship is one of the most beautiful things in the world. Every night before bed, I pray for my Prince Charming, and even though courting-age is still 3 years away, I know it will benefit me and whoever God wills for me to marry in the long run. As the old quote goes, "Yes, I'm single. But you have to be amazing to change that."

Children? Yes yes YES! Perhaps 20 of them! (Okay, maybe more like 6; whatever God wants to give me!) I love little kids and I can't wait to have lots of adorable ones.

As far as a career goes, well...I am a person of many hopes and dreams. The first (and most likely) being involved with horses. I want to be an Olympic show jumper and 3-day eventer. I want to breed and train Thoroughbreds and European Warmbloods. Horses are the most amazing creatures in the world and God has given me a special place in my heart for them.

I also want to travel! I pray that God would bless me with a man who wants to travel as much as I do. I'm planning on going to Europe someday, as I would love to live in Scotland or London. Even if it's out of the question for me and my husband to live there, I want to be able to travel lots while I'm young and energetic. Paris is also on the list of places to see. I love anything from the middle-ages, the Dark Ages, and the Renaissance periods, so castles and medieval towns are exactly where I want to go.

Did I mention how much I love making movies? I don't think I did, so here it goes: I LOVE MAKING MOVIES! There is only a handful of good, quality, Christ-based films in the world, so I want to be one of the people to get the message out there. I love being behind the camera and directing, but working on the script is extremely fun too. Acting is also a passion of mine, so maybe my husband and I can be a movie-making team. :)

Writing and drawing are also two things that I love doing. I love expressing how I feel on paper; anything you think of can be put into words or art. To me, that is a beautiful thing.

Well, I hope I haven't said too much. If you're reading this sentence right now, good deal! It also means you have lots of spare time.

Keep reading my blog and following me on my journey!
-Kennedi
